Dispatch w.50.2018 Sunday was the day. Weeks of training and anticipation of my first half marathon. Thousands of runners converging on downtown Dallas for the 48th annual BMW Dallas Marathon. Runners lining up and organizing into different corrals, I imagine the atmosphere was electric. I also imagine my adrenaline would have been flowing just like the old bike racing days. However, all I could do was imagine because the reality was, I was home, in bed, sick.
